Fracture Mandible Treatment

After an accidental fracture, if the patient is not able to move the mandible or maxilla, s/he is required to undergo a Mandible Fracture Treatment.

The symptoms for such situations include bleeding from the gums and around the teeth, numbness of the lips which mainly occurs due to Mandible Fracture.
The dentist examines the patient’s mouth carefully. The dentists often take X-Rays to study the case.

In the dental emergency treatments, the injured area is immobilized. The fractured bones, the abnormal movement of the mandible, maxilla are treated by following fixed dental procedures. Finally, ice packs are applied to the injured part because the affected area is generally swollen and causes tremendous pain. The pain and the swelling reduce eventually, after few days.
